Continuing from the Japanese Garden Engagement session ( click here ); we fled to a cozy space in Houston... Actually it was mad noisy as there was another party's celebration about to occur on the top floor. Ignore that and allowed some moments to occur. It was a studded jewel box of a session.. Congrats to Leah and Joseph... God bless and best wishes.
Japanese Gardens in Houston, Tx is a hidden gem... It is truly a zen like experience. Many couples take this stroll gazing upon the trees as the sunlight strikes them. The sun highlighted Leah & Joseph's love. Sometimes all we need is to take a break from city life and have a walk in the park. Stay tuned for an intimate affair in part 2... coming soon.
The Houston Museum District area has many hidden gems and artifacts for engagement photos. None however can rival the natural beauty created by the Lord himself.... Not to go too far but there was love in the air surrounding the still life beauty of greenery all around us. A simple stroll thru the some scenic oak trees that complimented the emotions of Ashley & Jeremy.. Congrats guys on your engagement!!
Houston Heights is one of Houston's most historic neighborhoods. The architecture is fabulous and the buildings are from an era that will never be replicated in the modern age. It was a perfect backdrop for an engagement session. Shelida and Justin are getting married at Heights Villa so they wanted to incorporate some landmarks. We set out from a lovely home then visited 19th street for some antique shopping. We even found a rare record store... They actually had vinyl!!!! Pardon me but as a music lover, this excites me. I did notice one thing that was important... Smiles abound speak volumes... It was a blessing to capture these two!! Congratulations!!!
McGovern Centennial Park Houston was the place where Trent popped the question. It was only right to continue the love story there. It was cold and cozy evening where it seemed like no one was in the park. The Houston Texans had a playoff game that was coming on in a couple hours. So the park was pretty much all to themselves... There were some visitors but none of that bothered them. It was such a joy to see how these two would interact and crack little jokes amongst themselves. As I generally shoot standing far away so I only observe their friendship from far away. At the end of the session, we saw a butterfly in the garden... A sign that their love will only blossom into some greater!!! Congrats guys, can't wait until the wedding day.
Bruce Munro "Field Of Light" exemplifies more than just an art piece. It's truly an experience, but let me be the first to say, this experience illuminates the eyes. I seen that sparkle in Carissa & Tim when they saw it.. Like a fat kid with chocolate cake, they endulged in each other.... The engagement session started with some crazy happenings at Disovery Green Houston. An Irish band was playing near the area we were so we couldn't hear a thing but it doesn't take much to capture two people who are into each other... Congrats once again!!!
OMG!!!! The sunset was absolutely incredible... We were left to bask in the glory by a lake in Sugarland Texas... What an awesome engagement session... Banke & Henry were truly a joy to capture... I caught myself smiling nearly the whole session as they danced and joked among themselves. Moments of romance and reflection also dwindled in their thoughts of each other... The images are purely a reflection of them... Congrats once again!! I can't wait to see what May brings on the wedding day!!
A cool fall day in Houston served as a beautiful scene for Lanecia and Rashad's engagement session in Downtown Houston. Both met and are from Alabama but now make Houston home. So why not get some of Houston's signature landmarks in the imagery. We started at a trail along Buffalo Bayou where we had a quick game of Uno. From there, the love spread and we captured some gems along the bike path.. Night fell and we captured some more moments amidst the Downtown Houston Skyline. It was a pleasure to capture these guys.. Much love and congrats!!!
Downtown Houston for Engagement Photos provided a perfect setting for these two love bugs... A quaint venue allowed us to wind down just before happy hour. Aleyse & Jay seemed to have never stopped smiling.. The chemistry between them was something to behold.. Sometimes, you have to fake smiles but not with these two.. They even pitted their favorite football teams against one another.... They played until nightfall under the moon at Miller Outdoor Theatre near Hermann Park. Congrats once again, can't wait to see how what emotions are displayed at the wedding!!!!
When you are surrounded by art pieces, you must appreciate the delicacies.. Inspired for something elegant and classic.. Nothing beats a musuem. The Cullen Scuplture Garden in the Houston musuem distract was perfect for an engagement. The Garden is quite tranquil and allowed the opportunity for Man'ikka and Donald to let their guard down and enjoy each other. Congrats once again to Man'ikKa & Donald.
Here we are again. We began the journey exactly where we started it. We set out to capture a celebration of Tricia & Jeremy's marriage and we concluded with a starry night of romance. If you follow us, we did an engagement session based off an "on the run" theme in the Warehouse District of Houston. We captured a similar scene in EaDo Houston to complete the love story. Congrats to the Halls... Dreams really come true..
Its not everyday that you do an airplane engagement session. The bride Chrystale had an amazing idea that turns out to have been on our bucketlist.. We got a bit of history and appreciation at a private Air Terminal in Houston. One could only think about what would it be like back then. We got to get a taste of first class in a vintage airplane and found many nooks and crannies where we found displays of emotion amongst the tourist.. Congrats to Chrystale & JaCoy once again.
Simple, colorful, and a little romance is how I would describe this. The union of Lakeesha & Warren had a few battles but the war has been won. Despite the Houston humidity, we made it out alive and these two were all smiles and laughter thru-out the session. Looking forward to capturing their big day in November.
A sunset engagement session turned into a nighttime opportunity in Houston.. The weather could not be anymore perfect for Seun & Emmanuel.. At first, they had asked me what to do but after about 7 minutes they had forgotten I was there.. There was a live Jazz concert going on at Discovery Green on the second outfit and it paved the way for some timeless moments!! Congrats guys and have fun at the wedding in Nigeria!!
Stephanie and Ike both are music lovers. Stephanie does a little djing.. Ike also has a love for graphic novels. He just so happen to have had one of my favorites. "The Walking Dead.. So why not be yourselves and incorporate those into the session.. We battled a few mosquitoes and I got stung by bees but we got a mix of fun, laughter, and fierceness. Congrats guys
